William T. Fryar, Jr.
William T. Fryar, Jr. is a native of Chattanooga,
TN and graduated from Soddy-Daisy High School in 1967. He attended Tennessee
Technological University at Cookeville receiving his BS in Biology in
1972. He then entered military service from 1972-1975 and continued with
his higher education training by attending East Tennessee State University
and graduated with a BS in Nursing in 1977. He then furthered his medical
studies at Vanderbilt University and graduated with a MSN (Family Nurse
Clinician) in 1980. He is a past member of the Sigma Theta Taa National
Honor Society. William T. Fryar has work experience in the Hospital, Public
Health, Military and Family Practice sectors over the last 20 years and
served our country during Desert Storm from 1990-1991. William has worked
with Byrdstown Medical Center since 1994 as a F.N.P., and enjoys working
with the patients and the community. He is nationally certified as a Family
Nurse Practicioner. William is married to Joyce Lee Fryar since 1972,
who is a Pickett County native. They are proud parents of Amelia and Wiliam
T. Fryar III. They are an active member of Bloomington Christian Church.
