Byrdstown Medical Center, has invested in a new Pediatrics wing that opened in
July of 2002. This Pediatric facility offers the best care to our little patients with state of the art technology, equipment and a child-friendly atmosphere.

Dr. Jori L. Shaffer, former chief resident at Vanderbilt University Hospital is the new Pediatrician at Byrdstown Medical Center. Dr. Jori L. Shaffer, a former resident of Byrdstown is coming back home to offer professional, specialized, personal care to our children!

Dr. Matthew J. King wanted to practice medicine in a professionally and geographically interesting area; and we here at Byrdstown Medical Center are glad he decided on Byrdstown, Tennessee.

Byrdstown Medical Center is located on 8401 Highway One-Eleven in Byrdstown Tennessee. The Medical Center provides medical services for the residents of Pickett County and the surrounding Upper Cumberland Region, including Southern Kentucky. Byrdstown Medical Center offers a family medical practice including emergency care, laboratory testing, x-rays, treadmills and bone density testing, ultrasound and echocardiography.
