Jori L. Shaffer, M.D.
Dr. Jori L. Shaffer, M.D., is a native of Byrdstown,
Tennessee and graduated from Pickett County High School in 1990. She attended
Tennessee Technological University at Cookeville, Tennessee receiving
her undergraduate education in Chemistry and graduatred in 1994 with a
B.S., Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Shaffer's subsequent medical education followed
with the attainment of her Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee,
College of Medicine in 1998 with highest honors. Dr. Shaffer did her residency
at Vanderbilt University and Medical Center in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics
from July 1998 until 2002. Dr. Jori L. Shaffer has been the head of Byrdstown
Medical Center's Pediatric wing since July of 2002. Dr. Shaffer has a
love of travel, music, theater and outdoor activities. She is active in
her local church choir and teaches Sunday school.
